The Jigsaws of 2024

I've always enjoyed jigsaws. They are a relaxing activity that keeps my mind and hands busy. However, they have been a particularly big help since I received my autism diagnosis.
My other loves in life feature prominently in the art of my jigsaws, from wildlife to Disney and I've amassed a huge collection over the last few years. I have a bit of a problem buying jigsaws (especially from the charity shop!) so I ended up putting myself on a jigsaw-buying ban in the latter part of this year while I worked on my to-be-completed pile.

In 2023 I did more jigsaws throughout the year than I have ever done in one year and I shared them all in a compilation blog post last January. Now, in 2024 I have beat that number and have obviously compiled them all in a blog post again! See below for all the jigsaws I put together in the past 12 months!

750 pieces - 2
500 pieces - 8

Though difficult, the shaped puzzles from Bits and Pieces are a stand-out favorite alongside anything by Galison/Mudpuppy as not only is the artwork always completely stunning, the puzzle quality is fantastic. As an adult, I often feel compelled to only do large jigsaws but this year I've purposely let myself enjoy just the act of puzzling. I look forward to continuing this into 2025!
