Litha! The Wheel Turns and with it comes the longest day and shortest night of the year. From here on the days (thankfully) get shorter as we move closer to Autumn. To welcome the season (though definitely not welcome the heat) we went for a walk >
Summer Solstice Walk at Beamish Valley, spent some time in our front garden appreciating the life that has flourished and the visitors that choose to stop by, decorated our altar, and had our Litha meal outside accompanied by the Elderflower cordial we made recently.
It was a lovely day over all and I hope you also had a wonderful time if you celebrate.
