Baker's 2021 Photo Set

This post wasn't meant for today, however, with yesterday being my birthday and it being a busy few days I didn't have the originally planned post ready. Instead, I thought I would share with you Baker's 2021 photo set that we took at Cocklawburn Beach on the 11th of October - only two days ago! A quick editing turnaround indeed considering I still have photos from two months ago to edit (ie those for today's originally planned post!).

So as I have mentioned time and time again, Baker is a very nervous dog due to a few attacks he has been subjected to in the past 9 years. That means the normal, everyday occurrence of walking your dog isn't something we get to enjoy often and this trip to the beach was a very rare treat...it's actually been since March 2019 when we took his previous photo set. People think this is cruel but Baker probably gets played with more at home than any other dog I know of plus it minimises the stress he and I go through. He loves balloons and playing piggy in the middle with his toys and playing with his ball in the garden...this all more than wears him out and is probably more exercise in a day than those who just walk their dog around the block then leave them to lay in a dog bed all day.
Anyway, we managed to get to the beach this day and although there were dogs around it's perfectly fine when they have good recall and stay with their families. His problem starts when dogs run at him and don't respond to us or their owners. So please, if your dog does this - keep them on a lead!! The worst thing you can do is shout over, ''S/he is friendly!'' we don't care. Baker is scared and should be able to enjoy his time without having to put up with bad owners and untrained dogs. Especially when he is very well trained, has excellent recall and is super intelligent. Not bragging, just telling the truth!

That being said he had a lovely time for the most part. Here are his photos. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.

Until next time...
