Dawn Chorus Day at Holywell Dene

 

Technically International Dawn Chorus Day was observed on Sunday the 2nd of May this year, however, Mr H works all the time haha. So we 'celebrated' early, out in the woods on Friday the 30th of April when he actually had a couple of days off. 

We are always early birds and get to watch and listen to the birds every single day but it's still nice to intentionally appreciate the sights and sounds of such beautiful creatures. On this morning inparticular, we headed out to Holywell Dene, somewhere we haven't actually gotten to visit since April 17th 2019! 
While there I also got the opportunity to hide some of the stones I painted way back in November.
