A Peek into Our Halloween & Samhain

For my own memories, I wanted to make sure I put together a post of photos from this year's Samhain and Halloween. Looking back it seems that I documented 2021, 2022 but missed 2023 which is a huge shame. This year I didn't get around to photographing the decor, but I did make sure to take some photos during the special evening itself.

The most important thing is that for me this time of year is all about remembering those who we have lost.
Their photos are on display, a candle is lit and for our little man Argo who we lost just under 1.5 months ago, his favorite, a Strawberry sat atop his urn.

Our traditional meal.
We start with pumpkin soup, garlic butter and flatbreads.
Our main is comprised of mash, roast potatoes, broccoli, cabbage, sprouts and cauliflower for Mr H.
Everything except the flatbread is homemade by Mr H.

You'll see that we used our 4th-anniversary traditional gift - our personalized linen napkins.

After dinner had settled we had a bath using one of our last Halloween bath bombs from Lush - Bob.
All clean and cosy in our PJs it was time for our slices of cookie pie from our 'The Vegan Bakes' Halloween box while watching TV.

I can't believe I forgot to pull my Woodland Wardens card for the month so in the morning I pulled my Samhain card and enjoyed the rest of our candles until we had to leave on our trip away. Photos from that to come soon!

I hope you had a magical Samhain and Halloween.
Only 320 days to go until the next season starts πŸ•ΈπŸŽƒπŸ¦‡
