The penultimate week is here!! 30 Days Wild has a mere 5 days left as this post goes live and although some days have been a struggle, I will miss the format of sharing our weekly wildness in these posts.

June 15th - Day 15
You have no idea how good it feels to have had my feet back in the sea!!
I popped up to visit my parents on this day and Dad and I visited my favourite beach in my hometown.
I mentioned last week, on World Oceans Day, how much the coast means to me having grown up
with a view of the sea from my bedroom window and one little walk like this means everything to me.
I have 40 odd photos to share in a blog post of all the beautiful nature and wildlife,
but so as not to overload these posts, this is just a quick snippet of Day 15, 30 Days Wild!
June 16th - Day 16
I have had some clay for a while and had planned to make a couple of pinch pots, using leaves to press in and decorate with impressions.
Today I had a play with different leaves to see the shapes and textures.
June 17th - Day 17
A small act of wildness today. I sewed some more cress seeds.
I had a very busy day, and so had limited time outside other than the usual garden jobs.
June 18th - Day 18
I don't think I have followed many of the specific prompts, but one I saw said to read a wild book!
We really don't have many non-fiction books, but I have been reading this recently.
Combining two of my favourite things!
June 19th - Day 19
Considering how often I watch and photograph the birds on our feeders in the front garden, it's a surprise that the only other
photo this whole month was way back on the 3rd of a Starling in our birdbath.
It was a rare sofa day today because my back pain issues have flared up and I had no other choice than to sit.
Thankfully Mr Pigeon was kind enough to hop onto the window ledge and visit me!
As you can see we are getting quite the range of birds stopping by these days.
June 20th - Day 20
The seagulls were going wild at sunset tonight. Maybe they were excited for the Summer Solstice?! Probably not.
Considering that we're now actually 3 miles away from the coast, it makes me feel at home to have Seagulls and Black-Backed Gulls here.
No matter what people think of Gulls and Pigeons etc, I love them just as much as other birds.
I'm proud to have assisted in the rescue of a juvenile Herring Hull who was covered in oil
and a baby Pigeon who had been spray-painted blue, in past years.
All birds are beautiful

June 21st - Day 21
For the first day of Summer, Mother Nature finally graced us with some rain this month!
I love the sun as much as anyone, and Summer is probably the best season,
but we need rain every now and again and I appreciate living in a country that is lucky enough to get it semi-regularly.
Look how happy this family of 4 snails are! Can you spot them all?!
