Marriage Lvl.5 Complete

Five years married, six together. Forever to go.
This is my one time of year to be overly sentimental and spout sickening sentences about my relationship. In general, I think I'm quite a private person. Despite having blogs, I don't actually post much online nor overshare on social media and that's how it should be. No one needs to know anything about me or my life, but as we celebrate our 6th wedding anniversary I would like to share a little.

My husband (and saying that word never gets less fun) is probably the best person I have ever met. So much so that I often wonder what I did to deserve someone so amazing and also worry about him being taken away from me in any way. He is kind, caring, and patient. He constantly goes above and beyond to make me happy, shares my values and is incredibly hard-working.
In this relationship, I have gone from being someone who worked multiple jobs and was in charge of all of the financial responsibilities, to being looked after and having a true man of the house who deals with everything important and anything that would cause me stress.
Serious subjects apart, we have fun together. We enjoy the same activities, fandoms, styles etc. Times flies when you are having fun and this past year has definitely flown.

In the past year we've been lucky enough to have some lovely adventures together and some stand-out memories include:
- Our annual Samhain and Halloween celebrations
- Sharing the first Sunrise of 2024 together at Marsden Bay
- Seeing Circus of Horrors again, at Customs House
- Going to our first gig together. Bowling for Soup!
- Becoming a two-car household
- Finally visiting St Abbs Head
- We got Baker a buggy and had many walks
- Officially joining the RSPB and visiting Saltholme and Bempton Cliffs
- Camping in the Highlands and a flying visit to Loch Ness
- A rainy day at Northumberland Zoo
- Getting to explore Ad Gefrin museum
- Taking Baker to Northumberlandia
- Celebrating Baker's 12th birthday at Woofing Woods
- Lots of awesome days at Washington Wetlands

There have been hard moments too, of course, we all have them but through all the ups and downs our relationship has been the light that keeps me going. I would not be the person I am or where I am without the strength and dedication of Mr H. His talent and work ethic are what keep the roof over our heads, the food in our tummies and allow us to have magical experiences together...
We never know what the future holds, but the next 12 months will be special no matter what as long as my husband is by my side.

I know you don't really read my blog, but if you are reading this thank you. I absolutely adore you and appreciate every little thing you do for me and our pets. I love you more than I can even express, especially due to the 'tism haha. You are my best friend, forever.

31/10/19 - 'till death (and beyond).
