Throwing back to August 2022 and our little camping trip to Dumfries and Galloway for Baker's 10th Birthday!
I've put off editing these photos for far too long and we had such a wonderful time I want to share them sooner rather than later...especially as I also have all of the photos from our Anniversary stay in a Hobbit Hole to share too.
This first post in the mini-series of our holiday is of Bruce's Stone at Loch Trool.
The stone was unveiled in June 1929 to commemorate Robert the Bruce, King of Scotland, and the Battle of Trool in 1307.
Being in August, it was a very hot day and we had Baker with us so didn't get to explore more around the loch yet wanted to see Bruce's Stone so paid a quick flying visit on our way to our campsite near Stranraer. Unfortunately, there was also a man with an off-lead dog who was wandering around itself so I'm gutted I wasn't able to get a photo of Baker with the stone. Perhaps we'll get to go back one day.
Here are a few snaps with lots more from that trip to follow!
