A whole four months ago I posted the introduction to this series, A Year at WWT Washington, with photos from our very first visit to our local wetland centre on March 3rd 2023. I've purposely left it this long to post again as I want to share my images following the seasons. Last year the first day of Spring landed on March 20th so the photos below are truly the beginnings of the season. I had originally intended on having one post per season however due to Spring running from 20th March - 21st June coupled with my snap-happiness I have so many photos that (this post at least) will be split into three!
I would love it if before you continued with this post you popped on over to the first post - A Year at WWT Washington to read more about my thoughts on WWT, a small background of our local centre and lots more photos haha!!
And now, here is Spring 2023 at Washington Wetlands Part 1.
It turns out that on our second-ever visit, I took well over a hundred photos... I've whittled them down to those above and think they're more than enough for one post so as not to become overwhelming. Is my excitement evident?! The next two posts will come in April and May so the WWT joy is prolonged throughout Spring leading to the Summer photos!
