It's June again! June is, of course, better known to many Nature lovers as '30 Days Wild'!
This is my 9th year taking part in the Wildlife Trust's annual wild activity challenge, and it's a double-edged sword for me. As someone who is very in tune with our natural world, every day of my life includes a suggested activity from The Wildlife Trusts (feeding the birds, planting seeds, having lunch outdoors and many other things). So I either have to get creative...or be extra conscious that what may be a normal, everyday action for me may not be for others, and I can still photograph it to include for 30 Days Wild.
This is Week 1.
This is Week 1.

1st June - Day 1
A late Spring Nature mandala to kick of the month!
Made with carefully taken plant treasures from our gardens.

3rd June - Day 3
A trip to a favourite beach of mine. I never pass up an opportunity to get my shoes off and ground, especially in the sea. We also had a pretty successful wildlife watch, too, which I will include in a separate post, as I took so many photos!

4th June - Day 4
A beautiful day! I love it when the rain comes and nourishes the Earth!
When out in the garden with Baker, I closed my eyes, looked up to the sky
and felt the raindrops on my skin.

5th June - Day 5
Another rainy day, but that didn't stop all my bird friends from stopping by. I had to top up the feeders
multiple times, but I don't mind if it means I get to see all the baby birds getting full tummies.
The Elder is casting its confetti, and the tiny snails were out in force as well.

6th June - Day 6
A little litter pick and the reasons I do it.
Seeing a can have grass start to grow over it, a discarded cigarette butt so close to entering the water system, and all the tiny little pieces of glass and plastic already broken up and becoming unnatural pebbles right by birds nests, ladybird larvae, and where dogs step when on their walks.

7th June - Day 7
Bath time for everyone.
It's the best feeling to have a regular flock who don't just come for the food,
but also feel safe enough to bathe and relax in our gardens. It's so lovely to watch them.
I had a Butterfly bath bomb to join in their fun.
